Complaints of children studying in schools across the state will now be addressed through the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA). To facilitate this, a complaint box titled “Court Wali Didi” is being installed in schools, including 250 schools in Jaipur. Students can write and drop their complaints—especially those related to cybercrime—into the box. These complaints will directly reach the concerned District Legal Services Authority, and the identity of students will be kept confidential.
Pawan Jinwal, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Jaipur, said that the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority has launched a campaign called “A Legal Literacy Initiative” to empower the youth of the state and make them aware of their rights and safety.
Under the Transformative Tuesday campaign, around 1,400 judicial officers across Rajasthan will visit schools every Tuesday. Between 7:30 am and 9:00 am, they will interact with students of classes 8 to 12 and educate them on cyber safety, fraud prevention, and legal awareness. More than four lakh students will be covered under the initiative.
The campaign will run for ten months and aims to inform children about cyberbullying, online fraud, and ways to stay safe in the digital world.
