During a virtual hearing at the Delhi High Court on Wednesday, presided over by Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyay and Justice Tejas Karia, proceedings were abruptly disrupted when a pornographic video began playing on the screen. The hearing was immediately paused.
However, when the session resumed, the video was played again by an unidentified user, and this disruption continued multiple times. At one point, a message appeared on the screen stating, “Your system has been hacked.” As a result, the video conferencing system had to be shut down, causing significant interruption to the court’s proceedings.
Additional Solicitor General Chetan Sharma informed the bench that similar incidents had occurred in other courtrooms as well. In response, Chief Justice Upadhyay directed the Registrar General to take appropriate action.
